Nintendo has confirmed that their highly anticipated Star Fox game coming to the Wii U will be playable at this year’s E3, according to Shigeru Miyamoto.

Miyamoto made the announcement during his Smosh Games interview.

“We’ll have a version of it ready at E3 that everyone can play,” Shigeru Miyamoto said. “Star Fox is a game where having two screens is really important, and it works really well.”

  • Well plenty of crack heads will gather round, play it 15 minutes, say its awesome, spend $60 when it comes out, complete it in an hour. Still say its awesome.

Haha, I’m guessing you aren’t a big fan of Star Fox? I really enjoyed those games growing up!

      • Yeah I enjoyed them growing up, but now as an adult its interesting. People complain about dollar value vs time it takes to complete a game. Nintendo games always hold their value though.

  • I just want to see what actual gameplay is like. Starfox wasn’t really all that impressive after 64 and I’m wondering if this might be a step in an awkward direction again or a return to a tried and true formula, expanded upon in this new iteration.

Yeah, I’m really angry we haven’t even gotten some kind of small trailer even to offer what the jist of the game will be. We’ll probably end up having to wait 6 months at this point until E3 to finally see a part of the game, but at least we can count of tons of gameplay videos popping up around that time!
