According to the game’s official Twitter account, more than 1.2 million people have played the game since its release last week. The figure includes players across the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC platforms.

And since the game has yet to be released across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia later this month, the game’s install base will surely only go up.

For those of you in North America, have you been playing Dying Light lately? If so, let us know what you think of the game in the comments below.

  • Looking at my Steam with hundreds of friends, I can tell this is true. Looking at how many reviews are on WordPress its true.

      Haha, good to hear!

      • One of my friends has his copy of Dying Light renamed to Dead Island + Mirrors Edge.

Hahaha, that’s great. That’s basically what it is though, but apparently throwing zombies into the formula works… I’ll have to try it for myself though

          • Yeah I have no desire to play it. Still haven’t played Dead Island 🙂

I actually really like Dead Island, wasn’t the best game, but it was a lot of fun I thought. Riptide was just atrocious though 🙁

              • My Steam friend was telling me how bad it is. He really elaborated, then I told him he should write a review. His review after paragraphs of elaboration to me…. “its a bad game go buy Dead Island.”

Haha, its bad, but… go buy it! xD

                  • Some people love bad games. Good for comedy and youtube videos.
