‘The Bright Lord,’ Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor’s second major DLC release, hit digital stores today. Going back in time to tell the story of Sauron’s rise, players take on the role of Celebrimbor, Talion’s wraith companion from the core game, as he uses the one ring to fight a loosing battle against Sauron’s forces.
Amid the sufficiently bloody battles in the DLC’s launch trailer, we’re treated to a few scenes of the inevitable clash against the dark lord himself.
If you haven’t played Shadow of Mordor yet, it’s well worth your time. Launching last November, to highly positive reviews, critics applauded its Arkham Series style combat and Nemesis System, in which the ranks of the orc army shifted according to your actions, individual orcs remembering you from fight to fight.
