Retailer ShopTo has claimed that Batman: Arkham Knight for PC will only be available for digital download and won’t be making its way into brick-and-mortar stores in the UK. ShopTo was informed of the disappointing news by its buyer.

Warner Bros. later confirmed the story, but said the physical edition of the game will be available in other territories. The news comes after the recent announcement that the game will be delayed to June 23 from June 2.

Arkham Knight is under development by Rocksteady and is described as the “explosive finale in the Batman: Arkham series” that will see Scarecrow reunited with Gotham’s most vilest villains, including Harley Quinn, Two-Face, and Penguin. The game will also showcase an entirely new part of Gotham City with wider streets for players to make use of the new Batmobile.
