Project CARS developer Slightly Mad Studios has announced that they will be releasing new cars for the game every month following multiple delays for the game. They initially said that players would be getting more free cars on the day the game launched, but they’ve now generously expanded that offer.

The first car that will be available for free is the Lykan Hypersport, a super car found in the Middle-East which will be featured in the upcoming movie Furious 7.

“We are immensely pleased to have this awesome machine in the game and to give fans the chance to get behind the wheel of a truly amazing vehicle,” said Slightly Mad’s Andy Tudor.

“The Lykan Hypersport represents the first of a series of free cars we’ll be giving away every month as a thank you to our fans for being so patient for the launch of the game.

“We’ll have more info on the full schedule of further content for Project CARS soon but we hope that this is a great sneak peek of just one way in which Project Cars is going to expand in the future.”

Project CARS is scheduled to launch for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC sometime in May.
