Microsoft released a new trailer for Halo: 5 Guardians today, in which new protagonist Locke is shown eliminating members of the Covenent with relative ease in pursuit of series icon, Master Chief.
The trailer features several new abilities, including super speed, a ground-pounding force attack, and an enhanced jetpack. It is worth noting, however, that the trailer did not use actual in-game footage, but rather a manufactured CGI presentation.
In addition to the new abilities highlighted in the trailer, players who pre-order the title at Gamestop will receive the Hunter-Class armor set seen in the video for the Locke character in multiplayer.
Halo 5: Guardians is the second outing for new series developer 343 Industries and is scheduled for release on October 27, 2015 for Xbox One.
