After seeing a massive increase in their Game & Network Services, Music, and Imaging Products & Solution divisions, Sony has decided to revise their forecast for the fiscal year.
Sony is anticipating a much bigger figure for their overall operating revenue and sales for the year, revising their initial forecast from 20 billion yen made back in February to 68 billion yen. Sony is now finally back on track to profitability for the first time in a while thanks to CEO Kaz Hirai and the huge success of the PlayStation 4 so far.
