Gengar confirmed as a fighter for Pokkén Tournament

I’m sure most of you have heard of Bandai Namco’s project, Pokkén Tournament. The game mixes Pokémon with a traditional fighter game. So far it will be only be release in Japanese arcades, there has been no sign of a western release. Given the console-like controller that will be featured on the arcade units and the popularity of Pokémon games, it seems that a Wii U version would be a possible idea down the road.

Recently, a  video was revealed at a NicoNico Choikagi 2015 stage show. The video showed Gengar, who will be a  playable character. The Pokémon can be seen using familiar moves, such as Shadow Ball, the video also reveals that Gengar  is able to Mega Evolve.
