Rumors about the return of the rhythm genre including Rock Band (which is basically confirmed) and Guitar Hero have been speculated since the beginning of the year. Activision released a 16 second trailer on YouTube today showing what looked like a band getting ready for a rock concert. This bit was followed by the date 4.14.15. Could we see an official announcement of a new Guitar Hero game tomorrow?
I was big into the rhythm genre at its peak but as I grew uninterested, it fizzled out just as fast. I really have missed this genre and a good rhythm game could be refreshing after a 5 year hiatus.
