If you’re in the market for a new Xbox One console, you may want to hang fire until later this year. In a tweet yesterday, Josh Holmes, Studio Head for Halo 5 Guardians said “there is a limited edition console coming, yes. It hasn’t been revealed yet but it’s pretty sweet. :)”
So with Halo 5 Guardians out on October 27, it’s a safe bet that this new limited edition console with be launched alongside it at the same time. As for what it looks like, expect to see a reveal at E3 this year.
Microsoft have already announced a few limited edition releases for the game, from the official MS blog there is a $100 bundle which includes “new digital content to enhance Spartan combat and exclusive items wrapped in a uniquely designed steel book.” The more expensive option rolls in at $250 with all the perks of the $100 bundle but with a commemorative statue, more on that at a later date.
So if you’re interested in getting you’re hands on some lim-ed Halo 5 stuff you’d better get saving now because it could be a costly affair. Have you got any thoughts on these game bundles?
