The Best of This Week's Rockstar Editor #1

Welcome to the first episode of The Best of This Week’s Rockstar Editor – a Gamespresso original weekly feature that highlights some of the most entertaining, well-made or downright funny clips and movies that gamers have created and shared on the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V.

We’ll start off with Running, Man by Shoalts/8-Bit Bastard – the most popular short currently available on the Rockstar Games Social Club.

This simple montage makes great use of some of the editors features by showing Trevor getting into shape in an array of gorgeous filters.

This next one had us in stitches. Franklin Visits the Shipping Docks by Tmulharin showcases our hero mocking the workers at the docks by performing donuts around them in a forklift, whilst flipping the bird, obviously. That is, until he meets his inevitable demise.

The greatest love story ever told by Conwin won’t win any awards for cinematography, but it does do a number of other things rather well. For me, it’s the expressions on Franklin’s face that make this video, which ultimately also results in Franklin being killed. I’m spotting a trend here. Alas, the clip also portray an important underlying moral – don’t do drugs.

Online by EightAndSix is a pretty accurate representation of what kind of things can happen in GTA V Online. The clip starts out as a pretty top looking montage of one player’s car collection, before the creature decides to ride its bicycle. See what happens after that for yourself!

Finally, Adventures of Jimmy De Santa by SWEGTA2 is a short but sweet re-creation of what happens in GTA V if, as Michael, you choose not to save your son. As if that wasn’t enough, flip him the bird while you’re at it, why don’t you? I think there’s going to be a lot of bird-flipping in the Rockstar Editor.
