Goat Simulator became a PC hit via steam last year when it was released in April; the goat butting and licking craze was encouraged by many popular youtubers. In November it received it’s first DLC providing players with a goat based MMO simulator with 5 playable classes and even quests…while being as buggy and filled with as many physics issues as the base game. The DLC was released around the same time as World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor.

Today Coffee Stain Studios uploaded a trailer for a new Goat Simulator DLC to youtube; GoatZ. The name of course plays off the game DayZ which is a PC zombie survival game which has been in Early Access since 2013 and is supposedly due for release in 2016. Like the name suggests GoatZ is a zombie survival game with a crafting system.

-Mandatory crafting system because everyone else is doing it
-Zombies that bug out. There’s a pun here about actual living bugs, but we’re not going to bother
-You can craft anything in the world, as long as it’s one of the half dozen weapons in the game
-Zombies, because this is a zombie game, remember?
-A pretty big new map with some stuff in it
-Completely realistic survival mode where you have to eat every damn five minutes to survive because Dean Hall & Garry Newman said so

Though the name of the DLC is more of a reference to DayZ the features list provided in the video description also mention Garry Newman who created Rust which originally began a DayZ clone… which also is still in early access on Steam.

GoatZ will be released May 7th on Steam as a DLC for Goat Simulator and will also be released as a separate app on iOS and Android the same day. There has been no word yet on MMO simulator or GoatZ coming to Xbox.
