Fans of Grand Theft Auto V may be excited to hear that Rockstar is exploring the idea of additional story content for the game. Not much more information than this has been revealed, however it may give a small sliver of hope to those looking for something to expand their GTA experience, especially those who may have owned it on the Xbox 360 or PS3 for well over a year now.During the week, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnik claimed that there were no plans at all for story DLC for the game. He was quoted as saying “we haven’t discussed any story-based downloadable content”. When probed further about mentions of story DLC when the game was first launched in September 2013 he claimed “we have different recollections”. This would appear to be a big let down for the many fans of GTA V, with Zelnik’s statements being contrary to many other statements from Rockstar about future projects.

Strauss Zelnik seemed adamant that story DLC had not even been discussed. A statement claiming he misspoke means hope has since been restored.

However it didn’t take long for a spokeperson from Take-Two to say that despite Zelnik’s strong conviction, that he ‘misspoke’ and that the DLC was in fact being explored. At the moment it’s unclear as to why this mix up occurred, but it seems that hope has been restored for fans looking forward to some more GTA story content.
