Ed Boon, series creator of Mortal Kombat, has announced on Twitter that the next DLC fighter, Tanya, will be available to download June 2nd for all Kombat Pack owners. Tanya will then be available for purchase on June 9th. Tanya is the third DLC fighter released for Mortal Kombat X.
Tanya is an Edenian warrior and has been featured in multiple games throughout the series. She was introduced to the series in 1997’s, Mortal Kombat 4. In Mortal Kombat X, she will be wearing an Egyptian-themed outfit and will be using a brand-new weapon called naginata.
The price for this DLC fighter has not be announced, but it should be similar to previous DLC fighter Jason, who sells for $4.99 individually or $7.99 with three additional character skins.
