Earlier this week, there was news of a new xbox one controller that was rumored to have a 3.5 mm headphone jack that would be on the way, likely following E3 in June. A couple of days ago, an image was leaked on Libro of a Covert Forces edition of the new controller confirming that there will be such a feature in the near future.
An image of the box is featured above and although not much is different at first glance, the controller has yet to be formally announced by Microsoft. We’re not expecting too much of a difference from the standard Xbox One controller currently available, but that 3.5 jack is something the players have been asking for for quite some time.
If nothing else it’s a small win with the cool covert forces paint job to go with it. It’s safe to assume the new controller will come in the standard black as well
