Costume Quest is a delightful RPG about a group of kids who battle monsters using powers given to them through the costumes that they wear. It was recently announced that the game will be receiving a cartoon.

A Costume Quest cartoon is in the works thanks to Frederator Studios, the studio behind Adventure Time, Bravest Warriors, and Bee and PuppyCat. It was confirmed that the cartoon was on the way by Double Fine’s Greg Rice over Twitter. Not much is known about the project at the moment, though it is likely that we will see the cartoon on Frederator’s online outlet, Cartoon Hangover.

Costume Quest originally released in 2010 from Double Fine Studios. The game was released on PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and mobile. The game takes place on Halloween, and sees the kids battling monsters using the powers that they get from the costumes they are wearing. A sequel to the game was released in 2014.
