Day For Night Games is a studio featuring several developers from Bioshock creators Irrational Games. The company was working on a new project called The Black Glove. It seems, however, that the developer has halted development on the title.
The Black Glove has been shelved for the time being. The announcement came from Day For Night’s website. The company’s Joe Fielder explained: “Okay, bad news first: We’ve decided to shelve The Black Glove for now. Good news: the team members are all working on exciting new games…We’d like to thank everyone who lent their support to the project. Whether you checked out the project on Kickstarter, wrote a news story about it, created awesome fan art, gave advice, or even just RTed, thank you a thousand times.”
Day For Night Games tried to fund The Black Glove through Kickstarter, though the campaign was a failure. Fielder explained: “In October, we attempted to use raise the funds to make the game via Kickstarter. It didn’t work out, so we decided to explore other potential opportunities.” While The Black Glove is no longer in developement, the studio did mention that they are working on other projects.
