In an effort to conjure up some popularity for the upcoming PS4 re-release of God of War III, Sony’s offering players a handful of bonuses, including free streaming rentals of past God of War games via PlayStation Now.
For anyone that preorders God of War III Remastered at retail or via PSN, they’ll receive the dynamic theme for the Fall of Olympus on the game’s launch day. If you preorder in North America by May 26, you’ll receive the theme early as well as free 90-day PlayStation Now rentals for God of War and God of War II.
The remastered edition of God of War III will run in 1080p at 60fps and includes the new Photo Mode, which allows “players can freeze the brutal action mid-swing, play with a ton of creative camera and lighting options, and share that with fellow God of War fans.”
God of War III Remastered launches on July 14 for $40.
