LEGO Dimensions is the upcoming LEGO game which takes inspiration from the tried and trusted formula of the Skylanders games.
LEGO Dimensions will be sold as a standalone game that can be upgraded by purchasing toys to interact with the game world.
Walmart have listed some information about exactly what types of toys we can expect to see, among which are three Fun Packs called China, Cragger, Chima – Eris and Chima – Laval. Then there are the ‘Team Packs’ and ‘Level Packs’ with the former including Jurassic World and Scooby Doo while the latter will bring the colorful world of The Simpsons and the physics bending Portal to LEGO Dimensions.
LEGO Dimensions is due out on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U this September 27th in the US and Canada and September 29th in the UK and Europe.
