While EA and DICE have certainly been busy with their upcoming game Star Wars Battlefront, they did confirm that Mirror’s Edge 2 is in the works and is being targeted for an early 2016 release. The publisher stated this at its latest fiscal earnings presentation and picked quarter 1 of 2016 as the best fit for the sequel to the 2008 game.
We have not seen much of this game other than the reveal at E3 2013. We do know that it is a reboot of the franchise and will tell an origin story for the game’s protagonist, Faith.
