P.T. was a playable teaser for a new Silent Hill title by the name of Silent Hills. The game was removed from the PlayStation Store in late April, though players were able to re-download the title as long as the game was in their library. It now seems that this is no longer the case.

It has been found that P.T. has been removed from the PlayStation Store completely. The game had already been removed from the PlayStation Store, but could be downloaded again if it was in the players PlayStation 4 library. It has now been found that even those who already downloaded the game will not be able to once again retrieve it if the title is erased. Trying to re-download P.T. will result in an error. This is unusual, as titles deleted from the PlayStation 4’s hard drive can usually be re-downloaded, even if the game’s license has expired.

P.T. was an interactive trailer for a new Silent Hill title that was being developed at Kojima Productions. Also attached to the project was film director Guillermo del Toro and The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus. The game was first introduced at Gamescom 2014 as “the world’s first interactive teaser. The game was downloadable soon after the announcement, and was later revealed to be a Silent Hill title. It was recently confirmed that Silent Hills had been cancelled, leading to P.T. being removed from the PlayStation Store a few days after.
