Since Konami announced their cancellation of the Silent Hill games PlayStation 4s have been popping up on eBay, listed as having “P.T Installed.” some going up to £2,500.

With the announcement that the Silent Hills will be no more and the playable teaser for the games being removed from the PlayStation Store on the 29th of April it seems that users are taking advantage to try and make a quick buck on their PlayStation 4 consoles.

This brings to mind the same incident that happened when iPhone users began posting their phones up on eBay and began charging ridiculous amounts for phones with the game Flappy Birds installed, after the creator of the took it off the store and stated it wouldn’t be coming back.

The announcement of the cancellation of the Silent Hills has sent shock waves through the gaming community, some fans still hold out hope for the title, but for the most part it seems Konami are willing to let this one slip back into the mist and be forgotten about.
