In a recent post from IGN, it was said that IGN Russia had spotted a post on Steam’s VKontakte page, a social media outlet in Russia, that gave details on the start dates of the summer sale and the encore sale which will be a two day sale featuring the best deals from the days before.

There has been no word from Valve on Facebook, Twitter or any other social media platforms as of yet. The PC community all know full well what to expect and will be gathering up the pennies from the piggy bank.
