When CIG staff member Disco Lando posted new imagery for the fans of Star Citizen, he had accidentally left a partial url in the background of a screenshot. No big deal right? It’s not like someone is going to just, you know, guess the rest.
As Kevin Spacy’s Lex Luthor eloquently put it – WRONG! According to reddit, that’s exactly what happened, and the person that managed to do so won almost 50GB of data.
Consequently a video (below) has appeared on youtube showing an assembled ‘Bengal Carrier’ using the assets obtained. The video’s up-loader does state there were more/different assets, and of course the game is still in development, so the Bengal Carrier on show is just a general look at what may make it into the final game.
Star Citizen is coming out on PC, some time in the future.
