Take-Two Interactive had a lot to unveil today after sharing the profits of their last fiscal year. Although their total revenue was down compared to last year, it was certainly helped by the sales of Grand Theft Auto V. Most of the later announcements were about projects from the company’s subsidiary 2K Games.
The latest installment in the popular wrestling game, WWE 2K16, will be released October 27th, 2015. This will be the 17th game in the franchise. The first, WWF Smackdown!, was released in 2000. WWE 2K16 will be available for Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One, and PS4.
In a more intriguing announcement, a new title is also currently in the works by 2K. The title was teased today by the company saying, “a soon-to-be announced new triple-A title from 2K” was soon to be on the way. Some have speculated this to be a third title in the Mafia franchise, but nothing further was stated.
