Lot’s of people like to debate over which is the better version of the Witcher 3 due to the resolution the game outputs on the Xbox One versus the PS4. While Sony fanboys will be happy to know that the game will be firmly set at 1080p on the PlayStation 4, CD Projekt RED has confirmed The Witcher 3 on Xbox One will be dynamically scaled from 900p to 1080p.

“The video [see below] you’re now watching is grabbed directly from an Xbox One console,” the developer said. “We’ve been working to give gamers an even better experience on Xbox One and, on day 1, we’ll bring you dynamic scaling from 900p to 1080p. We’re not much more than a week before launch, but we’re still fighting for every line of code — we want gamers to get the best possible experience we can deliver.”

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt launches on May 19 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Let us know in the comments below which system you’ll be purchasing the game for. Does the resolution output matter?

It doesn’t matter, this game will look identical on both consoles. Not much difference from 900 to 1080 And resolution doesn’t make graphics anyway like people are fooled into believing. Get it on the pc if you want great graphics, if you play on console, it doesn’t matter they are both underpowered
