Nintendo NX has been announced since March 2015. When the news broke that Nintendo will now be developing for the smart phone, they wanted to make sure that everyone understood Nintendo isn’t leaving the consoles behind.
And they really aren’t. The details of the NX are little to none, but what we do know is that the Wii U and 3DS will not be going anywhere anytime soon. The NX, which will work to compete with the Playstation 4 and Xbox one, is a ‘dedicated game platform with a brand new concept’ will start to have more details emerge come 2016.
In the mean time, if you need to get your proper gaming fix on via Nintendo, check out the 3DS. Filled with an ever growing library, the games should help keep you occupied until 2016.
