Lego Jurassic World has fought tooth and claw to claim the top spot on the UK all formats chart for the week ending June 20th.
The latest title in Traveller’s Tales legacy of collect-a-thon Lego games has become the first Lego title to reach the Number 1 spot since last year’s The Lego Movie Videogame, and is the seventh in Traveller’s Tales history to hit the top spot since the original Lego Star Wars way back in 2005.
Elsewhere the charts haven’t been as kind. Elder Scrolls Online has swapped spots with Lego Jurassic World, having reportedly lost 71 percent of its initial sales push. Either hurt by bad press from last year’s PC launch or the flip-flopping on subscription, it seems likely this title will only plummet in the charts further in the coming weeks.
Having had the biggest release so far in 2015, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt comfortably retains its #3 spot, whilst Rockstar’s GTA V and the latest installment of FIFA 15 follow in fourth and fifth place respectively. Payday 2: Crimewave Edition has seen a 24 percent sales decline to #6, followed by Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare at #7, Splatoon at #8, the re-entry of Destiny at #9 and Minecraft: Xbox Edition at #10 rounds out the top 10.
