Over the weekend, Nolan North, a prolific voice actor, perhaps best known as the voice of Nathan Drake in the Uncharted series spoke at a Metrocon panel, and explained some of what he knows about the Uncharted creator’s next project, a still unannounced Star Wars game.

“If you’re a big fan of Amy Hennig and her style of story, she’s gone to EA and is going to reboot a brand new Star Wars franchise in the style of Uncharted,” North offered. “I happen to know a lot about it and it’s going to be awesome.”

If this sounds familiar, it should. Many pointed out the Uncharted-style gameplay of the now canceled game Star Wars 1313. Asked if Hennig’s project was a return of 1313, North explained, “it’s different” but “along the same lines.”

Star Wars 1313 was announced at E3 2012 to massive amounts of excitement. It was canceled however in early 2013 when Disney bought the rights to Star Wars.
