Star Wars: Battlefront is an upcoming shooter developed by EA. Recently the developers took to Reddit to answer questions about the upcoming game, and they were quick in pointing out that the game will not feature a Death Star map.
“We will not offer a Death Star based map. But stay tune for details around the maps we will offer.” The news is a bit of a surprise, as the Death Star is one of the most iconic Star Wars locations.
Star Wars: Battlefront will not feature space combat, and instead will take place on the ground. The developers have said that they will be ‘looking into’ getting the feature added in the future.
The game will feature 12 maps on day one, with hopefully more coming as DLC.
Star Wars: Battlefront releases November 17th for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
