During an interview yesterday with The Telegraph, an English newspaper,Bethesda talked a bit about E3, their games and the chance of them returning to E3 next year.

Pete Hines the vice president of Bethesda hosted the E3 show and took the interview with the newspaper.

Hines told the Telegraph that Bethesda has always “felt like they’ll find our own way and do our own thing” when asked about Bethesda having their first E3 conference. “If we’re going to do a showcase, we’re going to do it our way” told Pines because after all, a showcase should be all about the games which is exactly how their night went; unlike some other conferences.

According to Hines the biggest reason Bethesda decided on a conference this year was because they wanted everyone to be able to see it. Bethesda typically get a lot of traffic through their book at E3 which means that those who attend do not get to see everything on offer and this year with this lineup was the right time for a conference.

When asked about ‘Skyrim 2’ Hines pointed out that many other developers would be spitting it out in a year or two after the initial release.

“We do smaller stuff, we don’t publish to scale, we try to publish to quality. Make sure everything we do is noteworthy. Our approach to that hasn’t differed. Here and there we might change our approach to how it’s presented but we’ve still stuck to who we are.”

Finally at the end Hines was asked the question everyone has been left wondering after E2 this year; will Bethesda be back about next year or any time soon even?

Hines just wasn’t sure but according to him “this year felt like the right time” which was no doubt due to the amazing lineup Bethesda have for the next year.

Depending on next years game lineup for Bethesda we could be seeing them again at E3.
