The highly sought after sequel to Ubisoft’s 2003 cult hit, Beyond Good and Evil, may finally be in the works.

During a recent interview at this year’s E3, when asked about the development of Beyond Good and Evil 2, Ubisoft co-founder Yves Guillemot stated, “I can’t say the name, but there is a team working with Michel Ancel on a project that is… very interesting.”

He continued to go on to say, “It’s a game I’m sure you will like very much, and we can’t say more.”

Even though the original Beyond Good and Evil released a little less than 12 years ago, the return of The Last Guardian and the announcement of the Shenmue 3 Kickstarter at this year’s E3 prove that very long awaited sequels are never out of the realm of possibility.
