Evolution Studios has released a new patch for their Playstation exclusive, DriveClub. The update, 1.17, weighs just about 0.1 GB and fixes small performance issues found in the challenge menus.

DriveClub was originally suppose to include a free version for PS+ subscribers. Some setbacks occurred and PS+ subscribers are still waiting for their chance to play the game. The wait seems to be ending soon according to Evolution Studios. The next game update, 1.18, will include some finishing touches that will help move towards the release of the PS+ version. Evolution Studios wrote on their Facebook page:

“The next Game Update is coming later in June and will continue to evolve the game and move us closer to making the PlayStation Plus Edition available again.”

On what exactly update 1.18 will include, Evolution Studios stated:

“Update 1.18 will be packed with further changes to challenges based on your feedback, new driver levels, new accolades, options to toggle Face-offs on and off, changes to the Drifting Stat (that will make the Hoon-a-Tic Trophy accurate again), and more that we’ll be ready to tell you about soon.”
