If you don’t know what E3 is, you’re totally missing out. It’s only the biggest video game conference on this planet. Held this year from June 16th – 18th in Los Angeles California. Electronic Entertainment Expo always has a massive turnout, with companies such as EA, Square Enix and Ubisoft partaking.
We already know that Ubisoft will be presenting Assassin’s Creed Syndicate with hands-free demo, along with Tom Clancy’s The Division and Rainbow Six Siege. What is rumored, to much excitement, could possibly be the new Prince of Persia game. The Ubisoft E3 conference will be on June 15th, where we might expect to see a reveal.
Back in 2012, images were leaked from a project that was eventually cancelled by Ubisoft. Many were convinced it was that they were for the next Prince of Persia game, but this rumor was shot down quickly. Then a year later, the franchise was put on hold, with the CEO of Ubisoft Montréal stating that they will show something as soon as they actually have something to show. Months later, Ubisoft confirmed that they were open to the idea of next-gen entries in multiple franchises, including Prince of Persia.
