Nintendo released a special video presentation today centered on Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. Among the announcements made during the video was a content update for the game in the form of two new playable characters.
Ryu from Street Fighter and Roy from Fire Emblem were revealed and are available to download right now! They also join the previously announced Lucas from Mother 3. With the addition of Ryu, Capcom is the first third-party to have multiple contenders in Super Smash Bros.
Roy and Lucas are available for purchase for $3.99 for either the 3DS or Wii U versions or players can pay $4.99 to get them in both versions. Capcom needs their cut of profits, so Ryu is a bit more pricey at $5.99 and $6.99 respectively.
