An all new Ratchet and Clank may be headed your way sooner than you think according to Insomniac Games.
A cryptic message appeared on the company’s forums last night by James Stevenson, reading “12 hours…” as of 6 p.m.
Fans quickly took to contacting Insomniac’s twitter. One fan tweeted asking if the studio was making a new Ratchet and Clank game, and Insomniac responded by saying “We are and you should check back in tomorrow.”
While the Ratchet and Clank movie and re-imagining of the first title in the series is currently in the works for the PlayStation 4, this appears to be an entirely separate project, as another fan’s tweet was replied to by saying “It’s not a remaster! Stay tuned!”

Ratchet and Clank are yet to make their debut on the PS4 system, after most recently appearing in Ratchet and Clank: Into the Nexus on PS3 in late 2013. The movie, currently in the works, has an all-star cast but was also recently pushed out of this year into 2016. While fans have been excited to see the original game come to the PS4 as well, will a new title in the series help them wait?
