The gaming community has had some complaints when it comes to most of the software for Nintendo’s Wii U. As loyal fans of the company purchased the system, they have yet to see some of the hardcore favorites they were hoping for. Iwata is not giving up yet, however.

President and CEO of Nintendo, Satoru Iwata, stated that even with develop of new hardware, the company would not abandon those who have a 3DS or the Wii U. The priority is to satisfy the customers who have already purchased these systems. The new hardware he is speaking of is the codenamed NX, which Nintendo has hinted about for a few months now.

This was said at an investors meeting reported by NStyles and translated by Cheesemeister. There will be more information on the Nintendo NX in 2016, but by then we should have more great things on the horizon for the Wii U and 3DS.
