Lara Croft knows her way around tombs, mountains, and clearly, the cover of a video game.
The box art for the next game in Lara Croft’s story, Rise of the Tomb Raider, was revealed earlier today in its shiny Xbox One outline.
It’s just one of two pieces of news that hit the internet this morning. The release of the cover followed the reveal of a “teaser E3 trailer” for the game that showed Lara acting as mysterious as ever.
The cover of the game, along with the trailer, showed Lara in an icy tundra, and on the cover she is specifically outside a cave (a tomb, if you will) with a flare in her hand. The snowy mountain setting seen behind Lara looks absolutely gorgeous. 
Rise of the Tomb Raider will receive additional information when it is expected to be fully detailed at Microsoft’s E3 press conference on June 15. We don’t know much about the game at this point other than its reveal as, somewhat controversially, a timed exclusive for the Xbox One after the previous released in the franchise was released across all consoles.
