Compulsion Games, the creators of Contrast, have their latest Kickstarter project in its last few days before ending. Titled We Happy Few, the game plays as a stealth-in-plain-sight game. Playing in a dystopian utopia where World War 2 was a little more nasty for Britain, the latest craze is taking pills called Joy in order to forget the terrors that happened during the war.

From the Kickstarter, “It’s a first-person game, set in a procedurally generated, fully 3D city that you must escape before society collapses around you. But, like any good rogue-like, you’re probably going to die a few times before you figure out how it all works.” In an attempt to leave the city, you must hunt, scavenge, and possibly fight your way out of the city while attracting the least amount of suspicion possible,

There’s three playable characters, each with their own set of skills and different issues they’re trying to forget. This causes the gameplay to change with each new go. As well, accomplishing certain tasks with one character might unlock new options for another character. While there is 6 days left until the Kickstarter ends, they still haven’t reached their Kickstarter goal. Have you already pledged your support on Kickstarter?
