If you just can’t get enough of the new card game introduced in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Gwent, we have good news for you. You can now play the card game without starting up, or even owning, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
There is a newly released mod for Tabletop Simulator, a PC game that allows you to make and play different card and tabletop games, featuring Gwent for free. As of now, there is no AI, but you can play against one other player. The mod was created by Steam Workshop user Mr. RiZZah and has no connection to CD Projekt Red, the developers of The Witcher 3.
You can download the free mod through the Steam Workshop for no cost, but you need to have a copy of Tabletop Simulator to play it. Luckily, Tabletop Simulator is on sale for $13.39 right now.
If you want more Gwent without buying a new game, you are also in luck. CD Projekt Red is adding new Gwent cards to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt as part of the free DLC that comes with the game.
