The Call of Duty series is split among developers Infinity Ward, Treyarch, and more. With this, there has been a new installment to the franchise every year since 2004. Could gamers be getting even more Call of Duty than they bargained for?
In a recent interview with Game Informer, Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg talked about how more and more remasters of older games were happening in the industry. They can be great things, but only if they are done right. He went on to say that Call of Duty remasters were something the company has talked a lot about, but they could only be done if it did not affect the production of the new games being developed.
