Dead or Alive 5 Last Round was released on PC earlier this year in March, without a multiplayer feature. This wasn’t the only issue for PC fans on the Dead or Alive series however as the games graphics looked like the Playstation 3 version of the game, not great for a remastered version of the game.

The graphics would not be changed but the developers, Team Ninja, said they would be adding a multiplayer feature to the game by June. It’s not longer June, instead it was announced on the official blog that the multiplayer update was delayed due to major issues.

“due to major issues found during the beta test, we will be postponing the release of the update.” announced Team Ninja in the blog.

What these issues are haven’t been announced.

A new date has not yet been given for the multiplayer update as the developers work at fixing the issues that have risen, for now the Online Play update has been suspended indefinitely.

Some PC fans are bound to be annoyed at this news but at least the developers have formally and publicly apologized for the delay which is something plenty of developers would never do.

Team Ninja also provided instructions to the Steam Beta players that have been having issues with the game, for now they ask that you switch the game into offline mode to continue playing the game.

Be sure to check the full blog announcement here especially if you are participating in the Beta.
