With the announcement of Gears of War 4 at E3, Coalition and Microsoft are giving players a chance to gain early access to the Gears of War 4 beta. Open beta is said to arrive sometime during the spring of 2016, but players can gain early access buy purchasing Gears of War: Ultimate Edition.
The ultimate edition can be purchased by pre-ordering the Xbox One bundle, which is said to be released in August, 2015. All players have to do is sign in and play Gears of War: Ultimate Edition by March, 1st in order to gain access to the beta. Check out the official trailer below for some awesome gameplay footage.
Additionally, Gears of War fans will be glad to hear that the ultimate edition is more than just a remastered version of the classic. The game is completely overhauled. Features such as extended campaign chapters, new multiplayer maps, more game modes, and modernized controls, all while playing at a smooth 60 FPS will satisfy veteran and new players alike.
The Gears of War: Ultimate Edition Bundle is available for pre-order and priced at $350.00. The game will also be available for PC, but no dates have been confirmed.
