Nintendo’s latest sales chart showed which games sold the most for the WiiU and the Nintendo 3DS. The sales are accurate up to June 30th, 2015. Nintendo posted a profit thanks to self-developed games, which crowded the top of Nintendo’s sales.

Not surprisingly popular series like Mario Kart, Pokémon, and Super Mario games led the way. On the Wii U it was Mario Kart 8 at the top of the charts and on the Nintendo 3DS, Pokémon X and Y ran away with the top selling spot.

Nintendo has some trouble gaining third party interest, because of third-party games’ tendency to fail, but Nintendo does not appear to be in trouble with their games selling the way they are. The full list of sales can be seen below:

Wii U:

  • Mario Kart 8 – 5.43 million
  • Nintendo Land – 4.88 million
  • New Super Mario Bros. U 4.84 million
  • Super Mario 3D World – 4.3 million
  • Super Smash Bros. Wii U – 3.83 million
  • New Super Luigi U – 2.26 million
  • Splatoon 1.62 million
  • The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD – 1.57 million
  • Wii Party U – 1.57 million

3DS:

  • Pokémon X & Y – 13.99 million
  • Mario Kart 7 – 11.92 million
  • Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire 10.27 million
  • Super Mario 3D Land – 10.10 million
  • New Super Mario Bros. 2 – 9.30 million
  • Animal Crossing: New Leaf – 9.17 million
  • Super Smash Bros. 3DS – 9.07 million
  • Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon – 4.54 million
  • Tomodachi Life – 4.30 million
  • The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D – 3.7 million
