The Legendary Pictures panel just wrapped up and ended with the Warcraft panel. Director Duncan Jones was on hand with ten other cast members from the film. After a question and answer session with the audience, the 6,500 in attendance at San Diego Comic Con’s Hall H got to see around 5 minutes of exclusive footage from the film.
The answer to your question is no, I haven’t got it for you, yet. But it opens focused on a group of orcs and it quickly becomes obvious that they need food and water to save their world. The visuals look stunning and the motion capture orcs look true to the character design we see in the game. Medivh creates a portal and thousands of orcs pour through it in an epic scene, to do battle with horseback humans, cut to King Llayne who says that the orcs are monsters who need to be destroyed. The main emphasis of the footage seems to revolve around Durotan and his pregnant wife, Draka, and the dangers of raising their child in this new world.
Sadly there isn’t any sign of a proper release of this footage so the best you can do is keep your eyes peeled for some sneaky mobile phone versions or keep checking back with Gamespresso where you’ll see the full trailer as soon as it lands!
Update: Duncan Jones later tweeted that the trailer won’t be available to the public until Fall this year. He said “Blood was spilt for this… ‘Today has all been about SDCC. Now I want to let you know the trailer will finally release to ALL in November'”.
