One of the biggest football clubs in the world, Real Madrid, have agreed to a three-year partnership with EA Sports. This will mean big things for Fifa 16 and future EA football titles.
The new partnership will allow for exclusive 3D head scans of Real Madrid’s top players, including Cristiano Ronaldo, Sergio Ramos, and James Rodriguez. These 3D scans will create even more realistic graphics and animations for the players.
It was also announced that the partnership will feature a Fifa 16 tournament between Real Madrid stars at some point during the season. Also, those that go to the Santiago Bernabeu to watch a Real Madrid game will occasionally be greeted with Fifa 16 celebrations on the big screens after a goal.
While this partnership may lead some to worry about the inclusion of Real Madrid in PES 2016; creative product manager for Pro Evolution Soccer, Adam Bhatti, stated that the deal will have “no impact” on PES.
Fifa 16 will release on September 22, 2015 for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, Playstation 4, Playstation 3, and PC.
