Square Enix announced today that the PS4 and PC version of Rise of the Tomb Raider will be coming out in 2016. The Xbox timed exclusive remains set on its November 10th launch this year for both of the Microsoft consoles.
While exact dates are unknown at this time, Square Enix did say that the PC version is slated for early 2016 while the PS4 version will be set for Holiday 2016. So PS4 owners will wait almost exactly a year for the next Lara Croft experience it seems. PS3 details are unknown at this time, so it looks like it may not be coming at all to the PS3.
So, this officially avoids all confusion for PS4 owners such as myself, who were worried we would not see Tomb Raider on the PS4. For more updates on everything Rise of the Tomb Raider, stay tuned to Gamespresso.
