Choosing to play Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 on a PlayStation platform?
Those who do will receive exclusive extra content as announced earlier today on the PlayStation blog. This content is set to include three new playable heads for your character based on some of your favorite PlayStation characters: Sackboy, Sweet Tooth and Ratchet.
The first full gameplay trailer is visible below, containing hidden characters, tricks, combos, and multiplayer footage. While online multiplayer is set aside for solely the PlayStation 4 version, the PlayStation 3 version will be $20 cheaper and priced at $40 upon release.
The game contains levels named Freeskate that will serve as lobbies for up to 20 players. They act as hubs where players can hang out and skate between different missions and online matches.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 is designed to get you online quickly and easily. As far as content goes, sessions in the game are hosted by dedicated servers allowing you to drop in and out of Freeskate sessions at anytime. In the sessions menu, you can easily queue up missions or modes, manage your party, and checking to see who is currently in the park.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 will be available on PS4 on September 29 and on PS3 sometime before the holidays according to the post.
