Electronic Arts has announced the release window for Unravel.

The game, developed by Coldwood Studios, will launch in Q4 of the fiscal year 2016.  This will result in a January 1st to March 31st.

The game features the protagonist, named Yarny, who is made entirely out of yarn.  Players must guide the little being through various levels and puzzles, using his yarn to swing on.

Unravel was announced at E3 earlier this year and gained considerable praise for the direction it seemed to be doing in.  Coldwood Studios are known for such titles as Ski Racing 2005, Freak Out, and The Fight: Lights Out.

Unravel is planned for release on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.  With the Q4 release window given it appears it will be released in the same quarter as EA’s other endeavors, Plants vs Zombies 2 and Mirrors Edge: Catalyst.
