It’s going to be a hot and steamy July this year and what better way to beat the heat than to stay inside playing this month’s free games released for Xbox One and Xbox 360. This month Xbox One gold members will be able to play Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag, as well as So Many Me. Owners of the Xbox 360 will be treated to the ever popular Plants vs. Zombies and Gears of War 3.
It was only announced last week that Microsoft games with gold promotion will offer not one but two free games a month for gold members. What once was a tool to showcase new arcade games is now a way to provide players some seriously heavy hitting games of the past.
Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag and Plants vs. Zombies is out now, and So Many Me and Gears of War 3 will be available July 16.
